Sarathkumar as wildlife photographer
After winning rave applause for his powerful portrayal in Pazhassi Raja, popular Tamil actor Sarathkumar is getting numerous offers from Malayalam film-makers. He recently signed Oridathoru Postman, in which he plays the role of a wildlife photographer.
Oridathoru Postman, directed by Shaji Azeez under the banner of Nila Creations with Kunchacko Bobban, Innocent, Suresh Gopi and Kalabhavan Mani in the lead roles, has started rolling recently. Meera Nandan and Archana Kavi are the heroines. The story is written by Gireesh Kumar.
"It is basically a humorous story about a graduate Reghu who is forced to work as a postman due to circumstances. When Reghu slowly starts enjoying his job, to his surprise he finds a big bundle of letters which was not delivered by his late father Gangadharan, who was also a postman. Reghu decides to find the addressee Yasin Mubarak, a wildlife photographer," director Shaji Azeez said.
