Santhanam tasted box office success with his last film, Dhillukku Dhuddu 2, despite getting mixed reviews from the audience and the critics. His next release would be A-1 (Accused No 1), directed by debutant Johnson. This comedy entertainer will hit the screens on July 26th and there is a good amount of expectation in the trade circle. The makers have now released a new song video from the film and this song is called Maalai Nera Mallipoo. Composed by Santhosh Narayanan, this number is crooned by Chinna with lyrics by GKB.

This song is an interesting experimentation, considering the theme and mood of this film. A1's star cast includes Santhanam, Tara Alisha Berry, Motta Rajendran, Manohar, Swaminathan, Saikumar, and Yatin Karyekar. The film's trailer which released a few days back was received well by the mainstream audience, however, it didn't have any fresh comedies or counters as such.
