A Twitter user and shared a recent picture of Sachin and Suriya that was taken in Mumbai in February and asked about their meeting. The pictures shared the Twitter use show Suriya and Sachin in matching blue shirts. Speaking about the meeting with the famous South Indian actor, Sachin Tendulkar said “we both were very shy initially and didn’t want to disturb each other but ended up having a good chat”. The celebrated cricketer has shared it with the hashtag Mutual Admiration showing that the two icons of different fields admire the achievements of each other.

Suriya is currently filming his upcoming epic warrior film titled Kanguva. The makers released the title of the project last week, which is to be directed by Siruthai Siva and bank-rolled by K.E. Gnanavelraja under his banner Studio Green. The film also has Disha Patani playing the female lead and will have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It is to be released in 3D in 10 languages. The actor Suriya also recently won the National Award for the 2020 film Soorarai Pottru. The film was directed by Sudha Kongara.
