These days, remakes are something every filmmaker is showing interest in. Whether it is Bollywood remakes or regional films, recycling is the way to go now. Whenever any movie performs exceptionally well, producers are ready to put cash into the remake of that. The recent remake that we are all set to see is that of Malayalam film Joseph. According to a leading daily, the film is being remade in Tamil will be produced by director Bala. The report also mentions that RK Suresh will be playing the lead actor in this one.

Suresh opened up to the leading daily and said, “I have decided to be part of only content-based projects, and hence, I felt Joseph is an apt film for me. It is one of the best films I have watched in recent times. I bought the remake rights recently and Padmakumar, who helmed the film in Malayalam, will direct the Tamil version, too. The details regarding the cast and other technicians will be announced soon.”

Suresh also told the daily that he will be seen in two avatars, which is why he is working on his physique currently. He told the daily, “I will have to gain 20 kg for one appearance, and I will have to shed 30 kg for the second appearance, which appears in the flashback portions.” The report also mentions that this film is set to go on floors in November and will probably retain the same title. The makers are reportedly planning for a March 2020 release.
