American actor Casey Cott, known among fans for portraying the Archie Comics character Kevin Keller on the live-action adaptation of The CW series Riverdale, tied the knot with fiance Nichola Basara at the Four Seasons in Whistler, Canada on Saturday. The actor shared the happy news by posting a black and white photo of him kissing his wife on his Instagram Story. A video also went viral a short while later showing the two in their wedding attire, with the cast of Riverdale namely Drew Ray Tanner, KJ Apa, Madelaine Petsch also present at the proceedings.
Actress Camila Mendes, who portrays Veronica Lodge on Riverdale, shared a video of Cott and Basara at their wedding reception on her Instagram Story and wrote, "Congrats to the cutest couple on earth @caseycott and @nicholabasara 🥺🥺🥺" Vanessa Morgan, who is cast as Toni Topaz on the hit teen drama TV series, also posted a similar video from the reception and wrote, "Congrats🍾@caseycott & @nicholabasara ❤️🥺" Portraying Betty Cooper on Riverdale, Lili Reinhart put up a cute TikTok video of Cott from July 2018 in which he is seen telling, "Find my wife." Shortly after, the video cuts to a clip from the wedding as he is seen with Basara beside him and holding onto his arm. "He found his wife❤️🥺" Reinhart captioned the video.
Casey Cott announced his engagement to Nichola Basara in December 2020 when he posted a selfie on Instagram in which his fiance was seen showing off her ring. Outside of his work on Riverdale, Cott has made appearances on the crime television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, the police procedural show Instinct, and the musical comedy-drama Katy Keene, which as well is based on an Archies Comics character.
