Ravi focuses on movies
Known for his success on the small screen with three mega hits to his credit, Cheyar Ravi had his first taste of success in movies with two back-to-back hits: Dharmaseelan and Harichandra.
The Anandam-fame serial director is geared up for his next movie with Bharath in the lead. He is considering a few big names in the Telugu industry as heroine and indicated that Shraddha Das is the most likely choice.
Ravi, sick of today's violent and disturbing movies, promises a youthful entertainer for all ages. Bharath was his obvious choice for the main character -- totally fun-filled and living on his own terms. "My third movie will be directed at the masses and not targeted at a specific audience," says Ravi candidly.
Ravi says he is focused on making movies for youngsters looking for fulsome entertainment. As of now, Ravi is flooded with offers from TV serial makers, but is carefully keeping away from the small screen, preferring the charm of the big screen.
