Ratan Rajput, a reputed Hindi television actress who is known for her portrayal of Ruchi Sharma in Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi, Laali in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Amba in Mahabharat and Santoshi in Santoshi Maa. She was a contestant on the popular reality show Bigg Boss Hindi in 2013. The actress recently visited Sushant Singh Rajput’s house in Patna and spoke to his dad. She had posted a video after meeting Sushant’s father. In her the text below her YouTube video Ratan Rajput had said - “Last few days were painful after Sushant's demise, and it was not the time for personal catharsis. Sushant is an inspiration to all the people.. A star that never dies.. An incredible soul. After meeting Sushant's father I felt normal and confident about life..He unknowingly gave me a push.. A push to accept life as it is i.e.pain and pleasures..gain and loses..Happiness and grief. Now I am Back to my normal life...because it's life. Thank you Uncle (Sushant's father).” 
In the video, Ratan says Sushant’s father different for how he has been holding himself during the time of grief and said that she will be praying that he continues to stay strong. She narrates how she had visited Sushant’s house to meet his father and sister but refrained from talking about it earlier to avoid being accused of a publicity gimmick. She says that she had visited Sushant’s father to support him during this time but was surprised to see him giving her the courage to deal with her own crisis. Ratan Rajput revealed that meeting Sushant Singh Rajput's father motivated her to talk to her mother about problems she faces in her life. She exclaimed that initially, she used to keep her problem to herself. However, after meeting Sushant Singh Rajput's father and family, she realised that talking to her mother about her issues helped her solve them easily.  
Ratan also spoke about what she told to Sushant’s father - “The only thing I said to his father was, ‘I always come to Patna once a year and whenever I come to the city in the future, I will always come to meet you. But he’s different, his words give you energy and fill you with hope. He lends positivity, don’t know-how. I just pray he continues to remain strong.”
