Ranjitha files complaint against Sun TV
Actress Ranjitha, who was recently caught in a controversial tape with godman Nityananda, recently held a press meet in Chennai and alleged that the tape aired in Sun TV was morphed.
On Tuesday, Ranjitha also filed a formal complaint with Chennai City Police Commissioner against Sun TV and Nakeeran. When asked about filing the complaint after almost one year, the actress said that there was immense pressure preventing her from filing a complaint against the media houses.
"Half the courage for this I have drawn from myself, and the other half is because of the government in the State today," she said.
"I have filed a complaint against Sun Network, Nakeeran, Dinakaran newspaper and website and other persons who threatened me at the time the video came out,” she added.
