Rahman's daughter undergoes heart surgery
Raheema (11), daughter of A.R. Rahman, was admitted to the Asian Heart Hospital in Bandra earlier this week following cardiac problems related to a congenital heart defect. She was operated upon by local and American doctors on Wednesday night.
"For the past three nights, I have exclusively been playing the role of a loving father, with no music, nothing. I want to sincerely thank all my friends and family members for their prayers and good wishes," Rahman posted on his Twitter page.
"God has been kind and Raheema is recovering fast. I also want to thank all my friends from the media for their support and for respecting our privacy," he added.
