Raghava Lawrence is celebrating his birthday today (October 29) and wishes have been pouring in from all quarters for the multi talented artist. Marking his birthday, Raghava Lawrence's new project has been officially announced and here is what you need to know. Raghava Lawrence will be teaming up with ace filmmaker KS Ravikumar for a new film which was officially announced this morning. However, Lawrence will only be seen in a cameo role and not a full-fledged character. It is added that Lawrence will be seen playing a character that he has never played before.

Raghava Lawrence's younger brother, Elvin has been signed to play the lead role in this film. It is going to be exciting to see Elvin and Raghava Lawrence act together for the very first time and let us hope that the film gives a solid breakthrough for Elvin. This new project will be bankrolled by Ravindran under the banner of Trident Arts in association with AR Entertainment. The makers have also informed that this film will be an action packed comedy entertainer that will have strong emotions.

An official tweet from Trident Arts read, "On Raghava Lawrence's b'day @tridentartsoffl & @AREntertainoffl announces that @ksravikumardir @offl_Lawrence @elviinvinu_off are coming together for an Action, Comedy & Emotion based film. #Lawrence will play a never before Mass Role in special appearance, #Elvin plays the lead". Raghava Lawrence is currently shooting for his next, Rudhran which is scheduled to hit the screens on April 14, 2022 for Tamil New Year. Rudhran is an action entertainer that marks the directorial debut of producer S Kathiresan (Five Star Creations LLP), known for producing films like Aadukalam, and Jigarthanda.

Rudhran has music composed by GV Prakash and has Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead. Sarath Kumar, Poornima Bhagyaraj, and others play supporting roles. Raghava Lawrence will also be teaming up with director Durai Senthilkumar of Ethir Neechal and Kodi fame for a new film titled Adhigaaram.
