Suriya is a popular actor who has acted in many hit films over the years, his upcoming film Kanguva has created a huge buzz among fans and Movie buffs as the actor is expected to play a never-seen-role in the film. G. Dhananjayan is a popular industry insider who has also produced many hit films and he gave an exclusive interview with Galatta Media. When asked why the release of Suriya' films or updates are getting delayed, the producer replied that his career is going big. He then said as he had said before, Kanguva is a talked about that has a huge business an the digital rights were sold at a record price and music rights were also sold for a big price.

Producer Dhananjayan then stated that "K.E Gnanavelraja is negotiating the Satellite rights for a huge amount." He revealed that the Hindi satellite rights and Dubbing rights are also under negotiation. Theatrical and overseas theatrical rights also has a huge demand, revealed the producer. “As the film has the highest level of the business and that shows his (Suriya) reach. So, his next film will be in this benchmark. How much ever this film achieves, the next will be higher than that. That is how his films are going to go", he said. The producer said "Some delays cannot be prevented. though the shooting of Kanguva is happening consequently, there is huge work, CGI work and post-production work is huge for the films." He then quoted producer K.E. Gnanavelraja’s words, saying they were planning an early 2024 release and even if the shooting ends in September or October. The post-production work will continue for 4-5 months because of the VFX that should reflect a period.
Kanguva is an exciting next film that is helmed by director Siruthai Siva. Suriya's massive next film is mounted on a huge budget and has Bollywood actress Disha Patani playing the film lead. The film will also have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad and is set to release in 10 languages in 3D.
