Naa ready lyricist vishnu edavan reveals the feel of thalapathy vijay leo lokesh kanagaraj - Tamil Movie Cinema News

'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo is nearing the end of production and the excitement for the film is at an all-time high, especially after the stellar response to the film's first look and the 'Naa Ready' single track released on the Tamil actor's birthday last week. Billed to be a gangster drama, the upcoming venture being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring music by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander is one of the biggest films in development at present and is scheduled to open worldwide in theatres on October 19. With 'Naa Ready' turning out to be a chart-topping hit in quick time, lyricist Vishnu Edavan recently sat down with Galatta for an exclusive interview to talk about the song, while also sharing interesting details about witnessing Vijay on the Leo shooting spot.

During the interview, Vishnu was queried about how Leo is going to be and whether a throwback song will be featured in the film along the lines of 'Chakku Chakku Vathikuchi' from the Mansoor Ali Khan-starrer Asuran (1995). Revealing that there will definitely be another track from a yesteryear film in the upcoming Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, Vishnu said, "The feel of the Leo is going to be very brutal and raw. It's going to be 100% Lokesh Kanagaraj's film. It was a superb experience to witness Vijay anna in such a raw role. It's very intense. It felt really good to see him in such a role." Vishnu Edavan's latest comments about Vijay's role and the feel of Leo have no doubt added to the excitement and fans will be looking forward to the next big visuals of the Tamil superstar in action when the film hits cinemas ahead of the Ayudha pooja celebrations later this year.

Being produced under S. S. Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner, Leo has Vijay reuniting with leading actress Trisha once again after a gap of 15 years and fans are looking to witness the duo recreate the magic from the 2000s when they starred in films Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008). The film also stars Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist, while the ensemble cast includes 'Action King' Arjun, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Sandy master, Mathew Thomas among others appearing in key roles.
