Priyanka returns
After a short break, Kerala state award winning actress Priyanka is back! The actress recently signed two films: Ivide Swargam Aanu (Malayalam) and Vaanam Partha Seemaiyile (Tamil), to be directed by Roshan Andrews and J.P. Azhakar respectively.
Starring Mohanlal and yesteryears chocolate hero Sankar in the lead roles, Ivide Swargam Aanu is currently progressing in and around Idukki and Kottayam. Set in the backdrop of a Christian milieu, it has Mohanlal playing a farmer Matthew and his bonding with his father Jeremiah played by Thilakan. The film develops on how the father and son take on the land mafia who are trying to convert farmlands into resorts.
Vaanam Partha Seemaiyile is set in a village backdrop and has Priyanka reportedly playing a role with quite a lot of glamour. Starring Ashok in the lead role, this film will dispel the wrong notion that today’s youth have about courage; for some, courage is about carrying out society’s blind traditions successfully; for others, it is about performing new absurd tasks chalked out by their peers! The film will serve as an eye-opener for such youngsters.
