Prakashraj visits Karunanidhi and Balachandar

National award winning versatile actor Prakashraj, who was busy shooting for his Kannada film Dhool in the thick forests of Karnataka, somehow managed take a day off on Thursday and arrived in Chennai along with his two daughters, specifically�to seek the blessings of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and his mentor K. Balachandar.

Soon after meeting Karunanidhi and K. Balachandar, Prakashraj also met the media to express his wholehearted thanks for their ardent support. Throughout his interaction with the media, he lavished praise on�Kanchivaram (for which he won the National award for the best actor) and its director Priyadarshan.

Meanwhile, Prakashraj has reportedly been paid Rs. 40 lakhs for the villain's role in Dhool, a remake of Tamil film Thiruvilayadal Aarambam. Dhool stars Yogi and Aindrita Ray in lead roles. Prakashraj is the villain and will be seen as Aindrita’s rich brother in the film, which recently started its new schedule from September 5.
