Prakashraj in Wanted: Dead and Alive!

Noted South Indian actor Prakashraj, best known for his powerful villain roles, was in Bangkok recently to complete the shoot of his Bollywood flick Wanted: Dead and Alive, a remake of Vijay’s super hit Tamil film Pokkiri. He plays the role of the villain in Wanted: Dead and Alive, directed by noted choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva with Salman Khan in the lead.

Recently, Prakashraj had to face stiff criticism from many corners for his performance in Vishal starrer Thoranai (Pistha in Telugu), in which he played a gangster’s role with the same expressions and body language as in his earlier films.

Prakashraj claims that though he wants to do different types of roles and experiment with quality movies like Mozhi and Abhiyum Naanum, he is forced to playclichéd villain roles because he has to do commercial films as well. So Prakashraj prefers to keep a balance between commercial and classic films. Let's hope Prakashraj will continue to remain the number one villain and character actor in South Indian arena.
