Praja Rajyam gets spokespersons
After Chiranjeevi’s extravagant launch of his political party, the opposition parties are tightening their belts for the long electoral struggle ahead. Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s entry into politics with the optimistic-sounding ‘Praja Rajyam’ is being viewed with distinct apprehension by all political parties in the state.
Most spokespersons from other parties like Congress and TDP said the actor turned politician had not confronted any of the major issues such as Telangana. Many observers feel that Chiranjeevi should give his party more substance and talk about his party’s agenda.
To correct this point, Praja Rajyam Party President Chiranjeevi announced the names of the party’s official spokespersons, Dr. Mitrra and Parakala Prabhakar, who were introduced to the media at a meet held in his party office recently.
At this meet, he said, “We formed the party with inspiration and response from the public. To bring respect to politics, we put the tag line 'Seve Lakshyam - Preme Margam' to the party. The state executive committee will be formed soon.”
