Vijay's Jilla, to be directed by debutat Nesan, has been making headlines ever since its release. The film has Mohanlal playing the role of Vijay's father and Mahat as his brother. Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady. The latest to join Jilla team is Poraali girl Niveda Thomas, who will reportedly play Mohanlal's daughter and Vijay's sister in the film. When asked more about her role in Jilla, she said, "I play a strong-willed girl who influences her brother in a positive way and brings about some good changes in his life." The film is produced by RB Choudhary and Imman is the music director.
