The Natchathira Vizha event in Malaysia has seen an unforeseen incident in the form of popular Tamil actor Aari getting injured. He had suffered a knee injury when he was attempting to score a goal during a football match took place between Arya and Athravaa’s respective teams.
Shortly after falling to the ground, Aari had decided to withdraw from participating any further in the game and had been taken to a Malaysian hospital immediately for treatment. He is said to be responding well to the treatment and is on the road to recovery now.
Aari, who is part of Atharvaa’s team is well-known to audiences in hit 2015 film, Maya, which had Nayanthara playing the female lead.
He will next be seen in an untitled film under VZ Durai's direction and is at present attached to Nagesh Thiraiyarangam.
