Bava Lakshmanan is a veteran actor who has played supporting roles in many hit films and is known for the comedy dialogue 'Vaa Ma Minnal". News about the actor has recently made headlines on social media that fingers in her leg has been amputated due to medical ailments. Galatta Media met the actor in person at the hospital and spoke to him about it. The actor said during a recent trip to Bangalore, suddenly it started raining and he hit his leg in the generator. He then explained that the situation of his leg got worse day by day as there were boils and it broke and one leg healed. He then said but the other leg did not recover. "They said it will keep getting worse and the doctors advised his leg to be amputated. Because he agreed, he came to the Government Hospital in Omandur and they removed three fingers and I am getting treatment. It's because of my carelessness, it got worse", said the veteran actor.
When asked about his financial struggles, Bava Lakshmanan said I could have gone to a private hospital and since it was a government hospital, he spent less money. The actor said some of his friends and media helped him. He then listed 'Thaadi' Balaji, Ramesh Kanna, director Vikraman, Bonda Mani and other actors came and visited him in the hospital. He further said "There are many popular artists in the film industry but I do not expect help from other artists."
