Monkey watches Prabhas' epic film Adipurush fdfs, crowd begins chanting

Adipurush is the recent film of Baahubali fame Prabhas that was released in theatres today. The film opened in a huge number of theatres in five languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. A video from the first-day first show screening in theatres has become viral on social media. It shows a monkey entered the screening hall and  the audience began chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ watching the animal. The monkey then peeks in from the hole and watches Adipurush as a scene of Prabhas in the character Raghava is shows. This video has become viral on social media and some netizens even acknowledged it as the presence of Lord Hanuman to watch the movie, which is based on the epic of Ramayana.

This instance is being correlated with a move by the makers of Adipurush that was announced ahead of its release. It was announced that in the theatres screening the film one seat will be left vacant as a Hindu belief that Lord Hanuman will be present wherever there is Lord Ram according to Hindu mythology. A picture of a seat that covered with an orange seat cover with the name ‘Hanuman seat” also surfaced on the internet ahead of the release of the film. 

Adipurush is a film that is based on the Hindu epic of Ramayan that is helmed by Om Raut. The Hindu language film that is shot with Motion Capture technology has a huge star cast that includes Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Shanon. There was also a controversy over the reservation of a seat for Lord Hanuman in theatres that ticket prices for seats near the reserved one will cost more. Then, the makers clarified that it was not true. The makers and industry experts have shared predictions that the film will be a blockbuster hit.
