Actor Vikranth had a pre-wedding gift when director Rasu Madhuravan offered him a meaty role in Goripalayam which deals with the plight of four youngsters who try to mend their ways but have to overcome the odds stacked against them.
In an era where directors turn to acting, four directors rub shoulders with Vikranth, namely Nandha Periyasamy, Jagannath, Ravi Maria and Singam Puli.
Vikranth, who is to wed television actress Manasa on Wednesday, said he would begin his new venture after his wedding.
