Parvati heroine to Mahesh!
Though she impressed Telugu audiences with her uninhibited performance in Vennela, Parvati Melton failed to bag any big banner films opposite a big hero. She remained the favourite of all the heroes as she has essayed many brilliant roles as a second heroine. One of her recent and most impressive roles was in the Pawan Kalyan starrer, Jalsa, as the sensual second heroine, where she again caught the eye of Mahesh Babu. Jalsa was directed by Trivikram.
Mahesh Babu, whose next venture is Varudu, was on the hunt for a suitable heroine and every one from Deepika Padukone to Ileana was approached for this coveted role opposite the chocolate hero of Telugu films. But nothing materialised until Parvati came on the scene.
A photo shoot was conducted with Mahesh and Parvati recently and the film’s makers signed her on opposite Mahesh Babu. This will be Parvati Melton’s biggest chance at stardom as this is the first time she’s starring as main heroine opposite such a big star. Though in Trivikram’s earlier film, Jalsa, she got a chance to act alongside Pawan Kalyan, she wasn’t the main heroine.
Trivikram is starting the film’s regular shoot from September 3rd. Produced by S. Ramesh under Kanakaratna Movies banner, Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.
