Pandya Store actress Shrashti Maheshwari got married to Bangalore-based tech engineer Karan Vaidya on 19 June 2022 and started a new chapter of their life. The couple got engaged in February and were slated to get married in April, but postponed their wedding owing to the pandemic. The couple got married in Karan's hometown Jaipur. It was an arranged marriage for the actress.
Shrashti Maheshwari opened up about her life partner Karan Vaidya. In an interview with India Forums, she said, "His name is Karan Vaidya. He passed out from IIT Bombay Computer Science in 2017 and is currently working as a founding engineer in a US-based start-up. We met in November. It's an arranged setup. My parents quite liked him and wanted me to meet him and get to know him. We clicked instantly and eventually fell in love". The actress is on cloud nine following the wedding.
"Nothing has changed from the time I got engaged to Karan to now when I am married. My throat is sore singing songs and dancing with Karan. I enjoyed my wedding, it was filled with colour, warmth and love of my in-laws and husband Karan is a very romantic guy. I like that about him. He picked me in his arms during the 'jaymala' ceremony and took me to the wedding mandap. Right after the festivities, I changed into my jeans and my in-laws were okay with it. I am glad that I have entered this new chapter of my life", she added.
Television actress, Shrashti Maheshwari gained popularity and became a household name because of playing a negative character in the serial, Pandya Store. Pandya Store, which has been airing since early 2021, is the remake of Star Vijay's smash hit Tamil television serial, Pandian Stores. Apart from that, she has also been a part of other serials like Divya Drishti, Raabta, Thaapki Pyaar Ki, etc.
