Non-bailable warrant against Prakashraj

Lately, Prakashraj, who has given urban audiences hits like Mozhi and Kanda Naal Mudhal and is South Indian filmdom’s best-loved (or hated) villain, has recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons.

First came the news of his personal problems, then came the news that the Telugu Producers’ Association has issued a ban on Prakashraj against working in films for a stipulated period, now we hear that a non-bailable warrant has been issued by the Hyderabad courts against the actor that everyone loves to hate.

It seems that a financier went to court over Prakashraj’s cheque that bounced. The financier had earlier lent the screen villain Rs. 10 lakhs; when Prakashraj issued a cheque for the same amount, the cheque bounced, leading to the issue of the non-bailable warrant.
