Yesterday, social media were abuzz that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is likely to star in the remake of Superstar Rajinikanth's yesteryear blockbuster Mannan, directed by P Vasu. The names of director KS Ravikumar and Sivaji Productions were also linked to the remake version. However, actor-producer Prabhu has cleared the air to a leading English daily and quashed it as rumours. He also clarified that there are no such remake plans in the pipeline.
