Earlier there were reports that music maestro A.R. Rahman will make a special cameo appearance in actor Biju Menon's next film, directed by Shajoon Kariyal. The film is a full-fledged comedy entertainer which will narrate the story of five friends. It is said that Biju Menon will play the role of a percussionist from A.R. Rahman's troupe in the film and the team has approached the Oscar winner for a cameo too. The film has music by Deepak Dev, who is former assistant of Rahman.
But sources close to the musician has denied the news. They have also confirmed that the Oscar winner has no plans to make any on screen appearance now.
