Nivin Pauly is gearing up for his second big release of 2023, Ramachandra Boss & Co, coming out in theatres on August 25 as a grand Onam treat. Known best among Tamil cinema audiences for the blockbuster Premam (2015), the leading Malayalam actor interacted with the media on Monday evening to talk about his upcoming action heist film, where he was posed with several questions, including one about a rumor a while back stating that he was a part of 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo in Tamil. In response to the query, a smiling Nivin informed that the rumor can remain a rumor in his reply, thus putting the speculations to rest.

The rumors of Nivin Pauly being cast in Leo surfaced before production began, but dwindled down soon after the makers of the Vijay-starrer announced the cast officially back in January. There was considerable excitement about the Bangalore Days actor being cast in the upcoming Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial after it was revealed before the official announcement that the Tamil film would include an ensemble cast featuring several big stars. With Nivin Pauly clarifying about not being a part of Leo, the Malayalam star will be looking to come out firing on all cylinders with his Ramachandra Boss & Co, which is his second release of the year after Thuramukham

Ramachandra Boss & Co directed by Haneef Adeni and produced under the Magic Frames banner in association with Nivin Pauly's Pauly Jr. Pictures also stars Vinay Forrt, Jaffar Idukki, Mamitha Baiju, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Vijilesh, and is currently one of the most-awaited Malayalam films of the year. Nivin also has in his lineup films like Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai in Tamil alongside Soori and Anjali under Ram's direction, while he's also expected to begin production soon on Action Hero Biju 2 as well. On the other hand, 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently in the post-production stages and is scheduled to open in theatres worldwide on October 19.
