Bollywood actress Nisha Kothari has signed up a Kannada film opposite power star Puneeth Rajkumar. Nisha, known as one of Ram Gopal Varma’s favourite actresses in Bollywood, has acted in two films directed by him; Aag and Sarkar. Another movie James, in which she acted, was co-produced by Ramu. Nisha got famous after the release of Killer which featured smooching scenes between her and Imraan Hashmi.
Nisha, who has so far acted in nearly 10 films, is no stranger to South Indian Cinema. She has done a couple of films in Tamil and Telugu before she made her Hindi debut with Sarkar.
Nisha would consider herself lucky to be paired opposite Puneeth, who has a record of all his movies being hits. Ever since he acted in Appu, all of Puneeth’s films have crossed the 100 day mark, which is considered as a rare phenomenon in film circles. Currently, he is acting in Vamshi, which is produced under his home banner.
