Neninthe: Songs to be re-shot

Neninthe starring Ravi Teja and debutante Siya, directed by the hotshot director Puri Jagannath and produced by D.V.V. Danayya under the Universal Media banner is a walk down the memory lane of Puri Jagannath’s early struggles, say insiders. It is also said that the film makes some pithy observations on the inner workings of the film world, albeit in a way that would not offend or hurt anyone.

Recently, the shooting was wrapped up with the filming of 2 songs, some important scenes and climax in Switzerland. With the foreign shooting schedule was supposed to have been the last but director Puri Jagannath felt that the song shot in Switzerland was not up the mark. So he asked the producer permission to re-shoot the song. Therefore, this time, the film unit has gone to Bangkok, Puri Jagannath's favourite location to shoot songs.

A while ago, Neninthe's cast and crew were stuck in Thailand unable to return to India from their shooting due to the political turmoil in that country because of which the audio release was delayed.

Neninthe is due out in theatres on December 18th.
