Nayantara's 'thulabaram' at Chettikulangara Temple
Actress Nayantara, who embraced Hinduism recently, offered 'thulabaram' on the first day of the Malayalam month 'Chingam' at Chettikulangara Bhagavathy Temple in Alappuzha on Wednesday. The 'thulabaram' was done with 50 kg of jaggery.
Nayantara reached the temple at around 10.30 a.m. and the 'thulabaram' was offered after the Uchapooja and Chanthattam ritual. Along with Nayantara, her family friend Latha, who had booked the Chanthattam ritual, was also present.
The actress later said that she came to the temple only for offerings and was not ready to take any questions from the media. She returned after offering annadhanam and offered help for the installation of a tower on the South end.
