Navya's glamour path
Unlike many other Malayalee actresses, Navya Nair had not yet taken the glamour route to attain stardom in Kollywood as she was over-conscious that audiences might not accept her in glamour roles because of her girl-next-door image.
The actress, who has been refusing glamour roles, has reportedly succumbed to pressure by director Vidyadharan for her upcoming Tamil film Rasikan Seeman. Sources say Navya has a bathing scene and a lovemaking scene in Rasikan Seeman.
According to rumours, Navya did these scenes on the condition that scenes of her glamour act should not be photographed by the still cameraman attached to the unit and distributed to the media.
Produced by Trans India, the film was earlier titled Ettappan, but later renamed Rasikan Seeman, following protests from various people, including the distributors. The film has Srikanth playing a very negative hero role.
