After an impressive performance in Vandhaan Vendraan and Vellore Maavattam, Nanda is back with Thirupangal, directed by Sharada Ramanathan (whose debut film Sringaram (Dance of Love) won her many awards and laurels). The film is is ready to hit screens soon. The film, produced by Sri Selvanayaki Movies, has Andrea as the female lead while Gautham Kurup (of Kandhahar fame) plays the main villain. Noted cinematographer Madhu Ambat takes care of the camera while Vidhyasagar is the music director. According to director Sharada Ramanathan, Thirupangal narrates the story of a young urban youth who dreams of going to United States. But life takes a U turn and he ends up somewhere else. Buzz is that the film would be an intense thriller laced with many twists and turns.
