Filmmaker-turned-actor Saskumar's next is the highly-anticipated Naan Mirugamaai Maara, which will see him in an out-and-out raw action role. Directed by Sathyasiva of Kazhugu and Kazhugu 2 fame, the upcoming film is billed to be an intense action thriller and has been announced for a worldwide theatrical release this November. Naan Mirugamaai Maara, which has been produced by T.D. Rajha under the Chendur Film International banner, had its much-awaited trailer released and includes gritty visuals that keep us hooked right from the beginning while building up the hype with the anticipation of what's in store next.

The Naan Mirugamaai Maara trailer, which includes black and white visuals from the beginning to the end, starts off with a bang and introduces Sasikumar wiping off blood stains on a window as it is raining in the backdrop. The visuals in this latest glimpse give audiences a look into a common man's fight against social evils and injustices and his single-handed fight to create a better world for his family. In hindsight, Naan Mirugamaai Maara looks to be a gruesome action venture but also appears to be a daring effort and the film's trailer is a testimony that film and cinema lovers will be in for a treat. The film is a step away for Sasikumar from the roles he has been seen in over the years and it looks like he has come up with yet another interesting performance.

Naan Mirugamaai Maara will also see Vikranth appearing as the antagonist and he will undoubtedly be looking to ace his role and come out on top, while popular Kannada actress Hari Priya is playing the female lead, with the supporting cast featuring the likes of Madhusudhana Rao, Appani Sarath, Super Good Kannan, KSG Venkatesh, Thulasi, among others. Considering Saskumar was seen last in the rural action drama Kombu Vatcha Singamda back in January, the actor will want to end the year on a high note with Naan Mirugamaai mai Maara, which was initially titled Common Man. The film also has music by Ghibran, who is also the composer for the songs and background score of Ajith Kumar's Thunivu, while the cinematography and editing are by Raja Bhattacharjee and NB Srikanth, respectively. Broadcasting giant Sun Network is presenting Naan Mirugamaai Maara and the film's digital partner is Sun NXT, while Think Music has acquired the audio rights.
