Mysskin sings for Karunaas

It is said that famous director Mysskin has lent his voice for a song sung by hero Karunaas on screen in Dindigul Sarathi.

Dindigul Sarathi is the Tamil remake of the famous hit Malayalam film Vadakku Nokki Yenthiram. Sreenivasan, who wrote the story of Kuselan, wrote the story of this film and acted in it 18 years ago.

The film stars Karthika of Namnadu fame as the heroine. It also has Saranya, Livingstone, Mayilsami, M.S. Bhaskar, Shanmugarajan, Manobala, Periyardasan, Ilavarasu and Chittibabu.

For the past 40 days, this film’s shooting has been going on in Dindigul and Karaikudi and now is on the verge of completion except for one song, which the filmmakers desire to film in a grand set in Chennai.

Actor Karunas said he will cherish this film forever. It is a new experience for him as he has been a small-time comedian who gave 5 or 10-day schedules usually, but now, he has dedicated a 40-day schedule. He also added that this film has given him a lot of scope to showcase his acting skills, which was not the case with other films as they offered him very little work or screen space.

He also talked about the story of the film. It is about a plain-looking man overcome by inferiority complex with a very beautiful wife. Sounds very sorrowful?! Yes. But for the eccentric and hilarious man he is, the protagonist ends up doing funny deeds that have their root in his inferiority complex.
