Thangalaan is an exciting new project of actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram with director Pa. Ranjith. Popular Malayalam actress Parvathy Thiruvothu who is also a part of the film has shared the exciting behind the scene glimpse from the film, which confirms she is back on sets of the films. The actress has shared pictures and a short video from her vanity van with her makeup team. She shared it with the caption “Back with the A-Team” and also shared a glimpse video of a black tribal pattern being drawn near her neck. She also shared a picture with another make-up crew and said “A-Team #2”.

These pictures confirms that the cast and crew of Thangalaan are back to finish the final leg of shooting. Recently, another actress from the film Malavika Mohanan was spotted at the Chennai Airport as she arrive to begin filming of the movie and she shared a picture of her gearing up for shooting a scene too. These behind the scene glimpses shows the cast are filming an imporant scene from the film. The last schedule of the film was to begin in May but was delayed due to a fracture that actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram sustained during the rehearsals. It is said that the actor has now recovered and the shooting of the movie is back on.
Director Pa.Ranjith had announced that they completed about 75% of the filming of the movie Thangalaan in KGF. He also said only 12 days of shooting are remaining, during Maamannan audio launch event. The film has an exciting star cast that includes 'Chiyaan' Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Madras fame Harikrishnan and english actor Daniel Caltagiron in pivotal roles. The film is set in the pre-independence era around the area of KGF. It will also have music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar and is produced by the director in collaboration with K.E. Gnanavelraja’s Studio Green. the filming of the movie is expected to end this month
