Monica, O My Darling is an upcoming neo-noir Hindi crime comedy drama film written and directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Sanjay Routray and Sarita Patil under the banner of Matchbox Shots. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, and Radhika Apte in lead roles with Radhika Madan, Sikandar Kher, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, and Bagavathi Perumal in supporting roles.

This comic caper which has been set in an office space is all set to premiere on Netflix sometime soon this year. This became evident after the makers of the film dropped the upcoming film's official teaser earlier today (August 30). The film is said to revolve around Mr. Jayant or the Prince of Angola, a young man who desperately tries to make it big with some unlikely allies and a dastardly diabolical plan to pull off the perfect murder. But by the looks of it, it seems that the Prince of Angola has a lot more to him than his story.

The teaser features Huma Qureshi in an ominous yet powerful role as she greets Mr. Jayant and who is later seen destroying a tiger statue with a sharp knife. We also get to see Radhika Apte in the teaser who gives tips and tricks to Mr. Jayant on how to be able to narrate a good story. Sikandar Kher also appears in the teaser for a brief moment where he reminds the lead character that he is still just the Prince of Angola as he hurls abuses at him. In the final part of the teaser, Huma's character tells Rajkummar, “Jay, what do you think of yourself? That you are talented? It is not about the talent, it is about your good story.”
