Mohanlal busy
2008 seems to be another busy year for Mohanlal. The actor is working round the clock to complete film schedules. As soon as he finished the shooting for Madambi, he left for Varanasi to shoot for the film Swapnamalika. The film is very close to his heart for he has written the story of the film apart from acting in it. Mizhikal Sakshi, in which Sukumari is in the lead role and where Mohanlal does a cameo role will be released on the 20th of this month. Madambi, which is expected to be the first big hit for Mohanlal this year, will hit theatres in July.
After finishing Swapnamalika, Lal will start shooting for Kurukshetra, which is expected to release during Onam season. After finishing Kurukshetra by the end of August, the superstar will join the crew of Casanova directed by Roshan Andrews.
Then there is a list of movies which does not have any confirmed dates of their shooting. They include Alexander the Great by Murali Nagavalli, Bheeshmar by Lohithadas, Cousins by Lal Jose, Cheguera by Joshy-A.K. Sajan and untitled movies by M. Padmakumar, Priyadarshan, Amal Neerad, Shaji Kailas, Kamal and B. Sreekantan.
