Mayandi Kudumbathar audio launched

The audio launch of United Arts’Mayandi Kudumbathar (Tamil), directed by Erasu Maduravan, was held in a simple function at the AVM Studios. Thelaunch was delayed for several hours since the crew decided to wait for Seeman to come and attend the function. Finally, they released the music in his absence.

Sabesh Murali has scored musicfor three songs: a thiruvizha number, a love song in montage and fiery song by Seeman. The film features 10 directors, including Manivannan, Ponnvanan, Tarun Gopi, Ravi Mariya and Seeman and is being touted as the first such movie. Shooting, which begun late last year, is almost complete and the crew is planning on a May release.

Mayandi Kudumbathar is about a group of youngsters who take up violence in their life for petty issues. How they learn family values and bring happiness in their lives forms the crux of the movie.

The film is said to be an adaptation of a real-life incident that took place in Anappatti village near Madurai Chozhavandhan. Tharun Gopi plays the lead role. Poongodi, a Kerala-based model-actress is the heroine.
