Manorama in ICU after knee surgery
Legendary Tamil actress Manorama has been shifted to the ICU of a private hospital in Chennai after a knee operation.
The 66-year-old, who holds a Guinness World Record for acting in more than 1500 films, 1000 stage performances, and television serials, reportedly failed to regain consciousness following the surgery.
According to sources, the actress, affectionately called Aachi, previously sought treatment in Kerala but moved to the Chennai hospital after the treatment using traditional Kerala medicine was ineffective. Galatta.com joins her innumerable fans in praying for her speedy recovery.
