A godown belonging to Mani Ratnam, used to store props, shooting equipments, cameras, and other technical stuff, was recently damaged by fire! A fire alarm was sounded as soon as the premises in T. Nagar caught fire, and though the firemen's brave effort ensured the fire was subsided in 2 hours, the loss to the materials seems to be huge! A case has been filed, and the Chennai Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
