The first month of 2021 is nearing its end and the festivities for some have just begun, with the news of popular Tamil film actress Athmiya Rajan getting married to marine engineer Sanoop on Monday now taking social media by storm. In a close knit ceremony in line with the COVID-19 norms, the wedding took place in Kannur, with family members and close friends gracing the joyous occasion. Athmiya, who is known among Tamil cinema fans for starring opposite Sivakarthikeyan in the 2012 rom-com Manam Kothi Paravai, was seen in a white-red sari on her big day, which she complimented with gold jewellery, while adorning her hair with white and red flowers, thus giving her a royal and elegant look. As for the groom, Sanoop stood out with his stylish kurtha-mundu and covered his long hair with a hairband.

Pictures from the Athmiya-Sanoop wedding were shared by popular Malayalam actress Tanvi Ram on her Instagram page, which have since gone viral.
