Unda , a 2019 action comedy flick is where Mammootty was last seen in and has a series of line ups. However, he is currently busy with Ganagandharvan, which is a Ramesh Pisharody's directorial. The movie's crew has tried very hard to complete Mammootty's portions in the movie earlier, although they haven't wrapped shoot entirely. Ramesh Pisharody in a recent interview added that if one really wishes to cast Mammootty in their movie, he would to stand by the crew to achieve it and that he was elated to work with him!
Having been announced last year, 2018, the filming of Ramesh Pisharody's Ganagandharvan kick started the filming only in June, 2019 at Kochi. This is Ramesh's second directorial, right after Panchavarnathatha, which is a Jayaram starrer flick. Ramesh Pisharody is better known to the audience as a Mollywood actor and comedian.
Ganagandharvan is jointly penned by Pisharody and Hari P Nair. The cinematography of this musical comedy is handled by Alagappana, with Lijo Paul handling the editing and Deepak Dev composing tunes.
