Mahendran turns hero
Mudhal Kadhal Mazhai marks the debut of Mahendran as hero, afterappearing as a child artiste in over 40 films. The movie is being directed by Madhuvannan, an associate of famed Telugu director Dasari Narayana Rao. Swathika, a new face, is the heroine.
Mahendran, who shot to fame in the reality show Manada Mayilada said he had been getting offers but waited for the right one. “I found the script of MKM a delightful mix of love, action and emotions. There is also the Kadhal title for inspiration. Of course, the movie experience will be an acid test and I am getting prepared for it,” says Mahendran.
In this movie sprinkled with newcomers, music composer Chanakya and cinematographer Akash Ashokkumar complete the list.
