Krishna Vamsi teams up with Teja
Krishna Vamsi, two-time national awarding winning director, is joining hands with maverick producer-director, Teja for Rudraksha produced under his Chitram Movies banner.
Teja’s new film Kayka (also spelt Keka) starring new faces Raja and Ishaana releasing on October 23 was also produced under the same banner. A buzz was created around the film when the identities of the lead pair was kept under wraps until very recently. Krishna Vamsi is now busy with Sasirekha Parinayam (inspired by an episode in the classic Telugu flick Mayabazaar) starring Tarun and Genelia. Both directors are from Ram Gopal Varma’s school of film making, making them out-of-the-box thinkers. It will be worth waiting to see what these two geniuses will bring on screen.
Rudraksha will commence sometime in early 2009.
