The countdown is on as fans around the world are waiting with bated breath for the release of KGF: Chapter 2 hitting screens on April 14. Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kirgandur's Hombale Films banner, the sequel to 2018's Kannada blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1 has 'Rocking Star' Yash reprising his role as Raja Krishnappa Bhairya aka. Rocky Bhai and, is coming out once again as a pan-Indian release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam languages. With less than a day left for KGF 2's release, Hombale Films on Wednesday dropped a massive announcement revealing the film will open on more than 10,000 screens worldwide. 

According to reports, KGF: Chapter 2 will release on more than 4400 screens in North India, followed by 2600 screens across South India. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to get the biggest opening overseas as well, with the Hindi edition set to open in around 1100 screens, while the South Indian versions will be out on nearly 2900 screens. The screen count for KGF 2's release is undoubtedly one of the biggest for an Indian film as expectations are staggering ever since the original film turned out to be a huge commercial and critical success, with the Tamil version being presented by blockbuster production-distribution banner Dream Warrior Pictures.
