Karthika denies signing Ko remake
K.V. Anand's blockbuster Ko, which has Jiiva and Karthika in the lead roles, is all set to be remade in Hindi soon. But the big question is: Who will play the lead role? Earlier, there were reports that action star Akshay Kumar had shown interest and was also keen on buying the remake rights of the film. However, the latest buzz is that star kids Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapur are also in the race to play the role of a photo journalist. Ajmal Ameer is likely to reprise his role in the Hindi version.
There were reports that lead actress Karthika will play the female lead in the Hindi version too. But she has completely denied these rumours. "I've heard the stories, too. But none of them are true. I'm yet to court B-town," Karthika clarified. She is currently excited about her forthcoming Malayalam film Makaramanju, directed by ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan (who also plays the protagonist in the film). The film is expected to grace theatres soon.
