Kamal Haasan's highly anticipated next, Vikram is getting ready for its grand release on June 3 and the fans have pinned high hopes on this action entertainer. The film will have a pan Indian release across multiple languages - Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who has emerged as one of the most promising voices in Tamil cinema right now. Lokesh is an ardent fanboy of Kamal Haasan and it is going to be interesting to see what the star filmmaker has in store for the audience. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for Vikram and the rockstar composer's songs have already turned out to be big hits among the masses.

That being said, the makers have now released the lyric video of one of the songs from the album, 'Porkanda Singam', the emotional number. The lyric video of 'Porkanda Singam' shows us a glimpse of the relationship between Kamal Haasan and the young 4-5 year old boy and it possibly seems to be a fatherly bond. Is Kamal Haasan the kid's original father or is there a backstory to it? Well, we will have to wait and watch. Vikram has cinematography handled by Girish Gangadharan of Jallikattu and Sarkar fame, while Philomin Raj and Anbariv have taken care of the editing and stunt choreography departments respectively. Kalidas Jayaram, Gayathrie, Santhana Bharathi, Narain, Elango Kumaravel, Shivani Narayanan, Jaffer Sadiq, VJ Maheshwari, and Myna Nandhini are also a part of the film's star cast.
