After the blockbuster success of Master starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathy, director Lokesh Kanagaraj has now collaborated with Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan for Vikram. While Vijay Sethupathi and Fahaadh Faasil are to play negative characters in this highly-anticipated venture, the makers have also roped in Arjun Das to play a crucial role in the film.

Known for his piercing glares and iconic voice that sets him aside from others, Vikram will mark Das' first collaboration with Kamal Haasan, a second collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi, and the third collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Actor Arjun Das has given us the first glimpse of him from the sets of Vikram. He took to his official Twitter handle and shared a silhouette image of him and attached a caption along with it which read, "A @Dir_Lokesh Sambavam Loading🔥 #Vikram 🔥💥".

Das' most recent release was V. Vignarajan's supernatural thriller, Andhaghaaram, in which he plays the lead role of Vinod, an alcoholic and smoke addict of a coach, who is struck by guilt because of his friend's mental condition. But other than Vikram, his upcoming projects include Kumki 2 and Dhruva Natchathiram, in which he has lent his voice to the villain character. He is also gearing up to play the lead in an untitled film directed by Anwar Rasheed.

The upcoming action thriller is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Antony Varghese, and Arjun Das. On the technical side of things, the soundtrack and film score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography handled by Girish Gangadharan, and editing done by Philomin Raj. Despite being a namesake of a 1986 film that also starred Kamal Haasan, the two films are completely unrelated. The film and its team and currently awaiting its release which is all set to come out on 3 June 2022.
