'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan is in the USA and recently met Academy Award-winning makeup artist Michael Westmore and his daughter Hollywood actress McKenzie Westmore. A photo of the trio is now doing the rounds on social media showing the iconic Tamil superstar alongside members of the Westmore family, who are prominently known for their make-up work in Hollywood. The picture was shared by McKenzie on Twitter, who informed social media users about her meeting with Kamal Haasan and her father Michael Westmore, while also expressing her joy at wearing clothing from the veteran actor's 'House of Khaddar' fashion brand and also requested everyone to watch his blockbuster Vikram

Kamal Haasan's meeting with Michael Westmore and McKenzie in the US has fueled speculations that it is for the prosthetic preparation for his upcoming film, Indian 2, which will resume production once again in Chennai from August 24. It is to be noted that Michael had handled the prosthetic make-up for Kamal Haasan in box office blockbusters like Indian and Avvai Shanmugi in 1996 and Dasavathaaram in 2008. Having won the Academy Award for makeup in 1985 for his work on the film Mask, Michael is also known for his work in various Star Trek productions. According to reports, Indian 2 will roll into production once again under Shankar's direction and the team will first shoot a few portions without Kamal Haasan. Sharing the picture, McKenzie wrote, "Highlight of my week seeing @ikamalhaasan #Kamalhasan & my papa! Excited to wear @kh_khaddar in my show! Be sure to check this amazing line out as well as #vikram !"

Earlier, actress Kajal Aggarwal had revealed in an interview that she will be joining the shooting of Indian 2 from September 13, which is being produced by Lyca Productions and features music by Anirudh Ravichander. It has been reported that nearly 30% of the film has already been shot with Kamal Haasan before production suffered delays due to various reasons such as budget issues, makeup problems, including a tragic crane accident in early 2020, followed by the coronavirus pandemic, and the subsequent lockdowns. With Indian 2 set to once again flag off production, we can expect Kamal Haasan and Shankar to come out with all guns blazing and deliver a cracker of an entertainer on the lines of their 1996 cult classic, Indian. The upcoming sequel will also star Priya Bhavani Shankar, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Delhi Ganesh, among others in crucial roles.
