Johnny Depp and Tim Burton are coming together for the seventh time to bring us one of those dark tales they are specialize in! After Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, they are getting set to make a re-imagined version of the children’s classic fairy tale Alice in Wonderland.
Sources say Tim has had designs on Alice in Wonderland even before he was famous. He's been waiting till he got a big enough budget to make his Alice come alive. And now that the film will be financed by Disney, money is not a problem anymore. Tim has a rather unusual knack for turning stories for just kids into gripping, spooky fables loved just as much by adults.
